Canvas Car Wash

First time coming to this self service car wash, paid with credit card, and although I didn't know first how to work the machine, I got the hand fairly quickly. I did slide my credit card multiple times because the air pressure dryer at the last bay furthest from the entrance never worked or I never understood how it worked, but I was really glad to see that it only charged me once, for the first time that I did use the water and the soap $10 for about 10min of total use. I'm only not giving it 5 stars because the air drying system never worked as intended. Will definitively come back again, I would just recommend for you to bring one of those big drying towels in case the air pressure doesn't work, like I did.

It’s not what it used to be anymore; they don't maintain the hoses or even provide soap. I used to go twice a week, but I've been there twice this week and there was no soap—the only reason they haven't had their water cut off is... well, without that, I wouldn't go back at all. All the stations have problems now; most of the hoses leak water.

Ok so when they first opened a few years ago, it instantly became my go-to! HOWEVER.. this was my first time back in maybe 6 months, and it has downgraded bad! Nevermind the 2-3 wanderers that will ask for spare change (it’s charlotte afterall!) the foam brush barely produced any foam at all, and most of what it did, spit out of a hole on the brush head away from the bristles! Annnd the “Tri-foam”? Try One Foam.. had to pause after each section to wait for the pink to resume.. no yellow or blue to be had! Only good part is still that you can swipe a debit card and stop payment when you want by pressing the button on the card reader. Sad decline, 2 stars

Good coin car wash with convenient location and excellent results make this my go-to place for keeping my car clean and shiny. Saturday and sunday super busy from 10am 6pm.

EDIT! Went back today, all drainage has been fixed. Had a wonderful experience. Definitely recommend. Canvas Car wash just opened. New vacuums, new sprayers. Best and newest "Do it yourself" carwash I've been to around Charlotte. Overall excellent experience here. since it just opened there are some pretty severe drainage issues causing deep puddles currently. I spoke to the owner and he is currently working to get these resolved. (I will update my review when I return if the drainage has not been fixed) Credit card and cash/quarters accepted (cash needs to be converted to quarters at the on-site exchange). The rate was fair I think for this type of thing. $7 got me about 13min or so, which was all I needed to get my car hosed down soaped up and scrubbed.
